Every year UNESCO promotes the use of radio as one of the most wide-reaching mediums — it is a platform for democratic discourse. Each year there is a different slogan and focus. In 2017, I designed the campaign “Radio is You!”, focussing on the listener and how each person’s radio use is unique, be it talk radio, news, information, music or dialogue platforms.
We created a series of 5 posters in 6 languages that could be freely downloaded and used for local events. There were also derivatives made for social media.
